Cedar Park may have just landed one of its biggest entertainment additions yet.
And no — this is not your average mini golf course.
PopStroke, the Tiger Woods-backed entertainment concept that has been expanding rapidly across the country, is officially opening its new Cedar Park location on April 21. But this project says something much bigger about where Cedar Park — and Williamson County as a whole — are headed next.
Because this isn’t really about mini golf.
It’s about momentum.
The new PopStroke location will bring a 14,000-square-foot entertainment venue to Cross Creek Market off C-Bar Ranch Trail, one of the fastest-growing areas in Cedar Park.
The concept blends competitive social entertainment with food, technology, and family experiences all in one place.
Visitors can expect:
• Two 18-hole mini golf courses
• A full-service restaurant and bar
• An ice cream parlor
• Outdoor games like cornhole and ping pong
• Interactive digital scoring technology
• TaylorMade golf equipment integrated into the experience
In other words, this is designed to be a destination — not just a quick stop.
And that’s what makes this story important.
For years, many Central Texas suburbs were viewed primarily as commuter cities connected to Austin. But that narrative is changing quickly.
Cities like Cedar Park are now building their own entertainment economies, restaurant scenes, retail hubs, and mixed-use districts that keep people spending time — and money — locally.
And when nationally expanding brands like PopStroke choose your city, it’s usually a sign they see strong demographics, rapid population growth, rising household income, and long-term economic potential.
That’s exactly why this project matters.
PopStroke already operates more than 20 locations across the country and continues expanding aggressively — especially in Texas.
At the same time, Cedar Park is seeing major projects emerge across the city:
• The Bell District
• CedarView
• New restaurants and retail corridors
• Entertainment-focused mixed-use developments
• Corporate and infrastructure investment
Individually, each project looks exciting. Together, they tell a much bigger story. Cedar Park is no longer simply growing outward from Austin. It’s beginning to evolve into a regional destination of its own. And if current growth trends continue, this may only be the beginning.
